Mental Health First Aid
One Day
Being a Mental Health First Aider means making it safe to have a conversation about mental health, starting the conversation and then handing over to mental health professionals if needed.
It does not set out to develop counselling or mental health therapy skills. The job of a mental health first aider is to get people in need to get the right mental health support and expertise.
The focus of this workshop is on practical communication skills used to start and have a conversation about mental health that leads to the right expert mental health support being sought for those that need it.

Respectful Workplaces
Bullying and Harassment - Prevention and Response
Half Day
Employers have a legal obligation to make sure that their workers are healthy and safe at work. This includes managing bullying & harassment.
This half day workshop provides the skills to create a respectful workplace culture based on your organisation values and code of conduct (CoC).
The focus of the training is both on prevention of, and response to, bullying and harassment. The first part of the workshop helps participants identify, encourage and celebrate respectful behaviour. The second part develops techniques to call out unacceptable behaviour and create a culture where it’s safe to do so.
Because this workshop is focused on changing the culture of an organisation we recommend engaging with your leadership team first, followed by the wider organisation. The outcome for the organisation is a healthy and safe workplace that fosters an enduring, respectful and inclusive culture.
As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:
· Promote, celebrate and encourage respectful behaviour in the workplace based on your values & CoC
· Describe what is, and what is not, bullying / harassment
· Seek feedback on their own behaviour
· Respectfully call out unacceptable behaviours
· Overcome barriers to calling out behaviour
· Recognise and manage their own biases
· Understand the causes of bullying and harassing behaviour
· Help people get support to change their behaviour
· Know support options for people experiencing unacceptable behaviour
· Know how to access formal complaint processes
